For the past 4 years, my sons ages
9 and 10 have applied for and taken advantage of the Ohio Educational Choice
Scholarship Program (Edchoice). The
program allows my children the opportunity to attend St. Peters Catholic School
on a scholarship worth $4,250 per year per child for my two sons.
This fall my kindergarten daughter
will have an opportunity to participate in the EdChoice program and I am very
excited about it.
The best part about the scholarship
program is that I get to make the choice as to where my children will attend
school. I believe the scholarship
has allowed my children to get a better quality education which I could not
have afforded without the EdChoice Scholarship.
Additionally, I’d like to thank
Ohio BAEO for its tireless efforts in keeping me informed about deadlines,
answering all my questions (and I had a lot of them) and providing school
tours. I believe that I made the
best choice for my children because I had all the information available.

We have been extremely pleased with the devoted assistance we received from Tracie Craft. BAEO has made the process of applying for the Ohio EdChoice scholarship program uncomplicated. From the school visitations to the calls to remind us of upcomming deadlines, Tracie has kept us on track during the entire application process. This program will place our son into a focused academic learning system which could only offer the challenges and opportunities in which he deserves. We know the importance of a good quality education and wish only the best for our child during these tough financial times.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for all that you did in assisting me through the Ohio EdChoice Scholarship application process. There are very few people or organizations that will go to the great lengths you did to make sure I was able to participate in the school tours and get the required information submitted on time. After speaking with Tracie Craft, State Director for Ohio BAEO I gained invaluable knowledge that proved to be very helpful in getting my child off to a great start in school. Ms. Craft went the extra mile to make sure that I had everything I needed to prepare my child for testing. Ms. Craft was friendly and had a genuine interest in helping me help my child. Words cannot express how much I appreciated the assistance that Ericka Murphy, State Coordinator for Ohio BAEO provided to me in dealing with my child's educational needs. Her knowledge and connections proved to be very beneficial to both me and my son. Because of Mrs. Murphy's hard work my son was able to continue on his journey of success in school.
