Dear BAEO,
BAEO’s school tours have
been of great benefit to East Dayton Christian School. These tours provide opportunities to
connect with some terrific families who are EdChoice Scholarship
recipients. It is critical to have
the time to meet in a small group and answer questions; this helps potential EDCS
families determine if this is the right school for them. We have been blessed by many of these
families and their decision to become part of EDCS.
EDCS is grateful for the
communication facilitated by BAEO tours.
Thank you for this great opportunity you provide.

It is with great pleasure that I write a letter of support for Ohio BAEO. Our staff has had the opportunity to attend several conferences sponsored by Ohio BAEO. This experience has giving us the latitude of networking with various schools. We have had the pleasure of feasing on the words of Dr. Fuller as he has addressed us with passion and purpose. Those words which echoed in our hearts have given us the drive to strive to be a better school and helped us focus on the question as why we do what we do.
Our goal as educators is to offer our teachers and students the very best that education has and to open their eyes to the world of the future. We take this charge seriously to give all of our children the opportunity to a first-class education. We do believe that we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us (Phil 4:13)
BAEO has been instrumental in our growing process. They have provided various workshops to educate and support our teachers and parents. Our school has reaped the benefits of the school tours sponsored by BAEO, various workshops to enhance growth and advocating for school choice on the local and state level.
In summary this organization has been a blessing to the community in which it serves. The personnel are effective and strives for excellence in everything they do. They can be seen as proficient and dedicated leaders with a commitment to the education of our students and parents. We are blessed to have the opportunity to work with such an awesome group of people.

It has been our privilege to assist parents in deciding on a school that best suits the needs of the student. We, here at Salem Christian, have been a part of a tour from the Black Alliance for Educational Options for the past few years. There has been a mutual partnership of both Salem Christian and BAEO in trying to find what is best for students.
This campus visit gives parents the opportunity to ask questions in a comfortable group setting. This informal gathering gives both the school and parent a chance to ask and address pertinent needs and issues that help in deciding the "best fit" for the student. The parents have always been appreciative of the campus tour and the individual attention giving to various questions.
Thank you for your partnership with parents.

I have worked with Ohio BAEO over the past several years. They provide an invaluable service for parents in the area of choosing what is best for their child educationally. One of the services in organizing visits to various schools including St. Peter. These visits allow the parents to see first-hand what the school has to offer.
I hope that BAEO continues to receive the support that is need to function as a service to parents.

Thank you for Ohio BAEO's support of private school choice for Ohio families. The guided tours and meetings that BAEO provides are helpful for educating parents of the private school options available to them. Parents seldom have the time to visit schools or know the questions to ask administrators. The guided tours provide them a means to compare schools and ask questions in an efficient process.
I would also like to thank you for being advocates at the State and local education levels. Your Assistance over this last year in answering questions and concerns regarding local public school district enrollment policies in regards to EdChoice grants has been invaluable. Ohio BAEH has supported several of our parents over the last few months to resolve issues surrounding their EdChoice grants.
Thank you again for your support of private school choice in Ohio.

The Black Alliance for Educational Options hosted a school tour for interested parents on March 4, 2009. Ericka Murphy and Tracie Craft from Ohio BAEO organized families to visit Chaminade-Julienne High School, giving them an opportunity to better understand their options at a Catholic high school. There were approximately 20 parents and students in attendance to understand CJ's call of Catholic faith, excellent academics, and inspired community.
